These three-piece, double jointed baits feature a high floating, "S" pattern swimming action that produces a big wake at slow to medium retrieval speeds. The large wake and significant water displacement is key to attracting the attention of potential trophies nested along the bottom. Anglers will also find that the Bio Gill Wake Bait responds well to several other cadences, including a faster retrieve that causes the bait to dive just below the surface, or downward rod tip twitches that if done correctly will get the bait to walk back and forth. All methods of fishing these plus-sized topwater baits produce a low clacking sound that only further piques the curiosity of bass from afar.
